It could not see how collective selling could take place without a rule such as D.7.3 because the league and individual clubs could find themselves selling the same rights. “Any broadcaster who [negotiated] with one of them would clearly refuse to pay it a substantial price for rights which might be sold by another vendor to a different purchaser.”
