Sky cements prime position as TVNZ loses Olympics

Formula One’s meteoric rise in the US has yielded a media rights fee to match via a new deal with Disney, putting the US behind only the UK and Germany in terms of F1 broadcast revenue.

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) is unlikely to reach its R$650m-per-year target for global media and marketing rights to the Copa do Brasil but is set fair for an overall increase compared to the current cycle.
