American Football: Indian broadcaster Ten Sports, owned by pay-television operator Zee, acquired the rights to the Elite Football League of India in a multi-year deal. The league will be made up of eight franchises and its inaugural season will start in November 2012. The league plans to add eight teams during the second year and four in each subsequent season until 2022.
