Abema sublicenses Premier League rights in Japan from SPOTV

Japanese streaming platform Abema will show 114 live matches from the English Premier League during the upcoming 2022-23 season under a sublicensing deal with sports streaming service SPOTV Now, the master rights-holder in the market.

It is understood that talks are also ongoing about a sublicensing deal between SPOTV and DAZN, the former Premier League rights-holder in Japan.
