ABS-CBN picks up rights to Pacquiao-Horn

Filipino media company ABS-CBN has acquired rights to the upcoming world welterweight boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Jeff Horn.

ABS-CBN will serve as the exclusive seller of all broadcast rights for pay-television, cable, satellite, pay-per-view, video-on-demand, internet and mobile telecommunications in its home country.

The fight will take place on July 2 in Brisbane, Australia. Filipino favourite Pacquiao heads into the fight with a 59-6-2 win-loss-draw record, while Australian Horn has won 16 of his 17 bouts to date.
