Regional US broadcasters Wave-TV and WHAS-TV have acquired exclusive local rights in Louisville to show the Atlantic Coast Conference college sports competition.
The deal will run for three years, from 2014-15 to 2016-17.
The agreement includes at least 22 regular-season basketball games, all 14 tournament basketball games and 13 American football games per season. The rights include six pre-season American football programmes, the ACC Basketball Tip-Off magazine show and three ACC ‘Kings of the Court’ programmes.
Wave-TV’s deal includes online rights.
The University of Louisville will join the conference for the 2014-15 academic year.
