Australian media reports say that Foxtel and Seven are close to renewing their domestic media rights for the Australian Football League, although one report says a final round of talks will take place this week.

Most reports expect the sales process to generate an increase in media rights income for the league, from the A$473m ($321m/€324m) per year being paid under the current deals, running to 2024.
