Amazon, Apple ‘passed on’ LIV Golf media rights deal in US

Technology giants Amazon and Apple both reportedly passed on the opportunity to become the media rights partner of Saudi-backed startup LIV Golf in the United States, highlighting the difficulties the breakaway tour has faced to secure a move into the mainstream.

According to the Wall Street Journal, LIV Golf approached Amazon and Apple about a potential rights deal, but neither expressed any interest.
