America One snaps up internet ice hockey rights

US ice hockey competition the Central Hockey League has sold its internet coverage rights to online sports video portal America One Sports in a three-year deal, from 2012-13 to 2014-15.

America One Sports will show all regular-season and playoff games through the CHL-TV online package.

“Our partnership with America One Sports is going to present Central Hockey League fans with more access than ever to their favourite teams, athletes, and match-ups,” the league’s commissioner, Duane Lewis, said.

The league’s 21st season will begin on October 19.
