German public-service broadcasters ARD and ZDF have renewed their rights deal with the Deutscher Leichtathletik-Verband, the German athletics association, until 2016.
ARD and ZDF will continue to show coverage of the German national championships, which take place on an annual basis.
SportA, the sports-rights arm of ARD and ZDF, brokered the deal.
