German public-service broadcasters ARD and ZDF have extended a rights deal with the German Fencing Federation.
The agreement will run for four years, from 2017-18 to 2020-21.
The deal includes coverage of the 2017 World Fencing Championships, which will take place in the German city of Leipzig.
The agreement was struck between Partner Fechtsport Marketing, working on behalf of the federation, and the SportA agency, which negotiates rights acquisitions on behalf of ARD and ZDF.
