The Spring Media agency has opened an office in Astana, Kazakhstan, in a move to expand its business activities in the region.
The newly established office will oversee all commercial activities in central Asia, including the distribution of broadcast rights, provision of consultancy services and support to local broadcasters, federations, clubs, advertisers and investors.
Spring Media’s central Asia office is headed by Arystanbek Nurmakhanov, who most recently worked at Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Culture and Information as deputy chairman and supervisor at the State Secretary Office.
Spring Media partner Hans Svelander said: “From the launch of Spring Media in 2011 we have been active in central Asia, producing and distributing an increasing number of sporting events. To establish a local presence is a natural step to further strengthen our market position, and provide local expertise for our broadcasters, federations and commercial partners.”
