Sports content company Aurora Media Worldwide has signed a two-year agreement with the Falcon and Associates agency to support host broadcaster, state-owned Dubai Sports, in its coverage of badminton’s World Superseries Finals event, which will be held in Dubai next month.
Under the deal, Aurora Media will produce live coverage of all men’s and women’s finals matches from the Badminton World Federation event at Hamdan Sports Complex.
Aurora Media will work with London-based sports presentation specialist Progress Productions to co-produce all entertainment and in-stadia elements.
The World Superseries Finals is the annual culmination of the BWF’s 12-stage top tier of tournaments and features the top eight singles players and doubles pairings in the sport’s five traditional categories, competing for a $1m (€800,000) prize fund.
