The B4 Capital agency has retained international rights to Serie B, the second tier of Italian club football, after agreeing a new three-year deal.
B4 had held the international broadcast distribution rights to Serie B across the 2012-13 to 2014-15 seasons and has now extended this partnership to take in the 2015-16 to 2017-18 campaigns.
Serie B coverage will be produced by pay-television broadcaster Sky Italia, which acquired domestic rights to the league in May.
Sky’s exclusive deal also runs for three years, from 2015-16 to 2017-18. Sky outbid pay-television broadcaster Mediaset Premium for the rights.
