FC Barcelona has sold an additional 15 per cent of its LaLiga television rights income to Sixth Street Partners, taking the US-based investment firm’s stake to 25 per cent, while it has also delved into the NFT marketplace for the first time.

Sixth Street last month finalised an agreement to buy 10 per cent of Barcelona’s LaLiga rights income for the next 25 years for €207.5m ($211m), in a deal that would have generated €267m for the 2022-23 season.
