BBC agrees late deal for badminton’s European Mixed Team Championships

UK public-service broadcaster the BBC will show the semi-final and final of badminton’s 2019 European Mixed Team Championships after agreeing a deal with its rights-holder, sports media and data provider Sportradar.

The matches on February 16-17 will be available live on the BBC Sport website and digital platforms.

The tournament began yesterday (Wednesday), with reigning champions Denmark staging the event at the Frederiksberg Hallerne in Copenhagen.

The hosts are joined at the tournament by teams from England, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain and Russia.
