BBC nets record Wimbledon online traffic, peak of 7.5m viewers for men’s final

The BBC’s coverage of this year’s Wimbledon set a new record for online viewing figures, with the UK public-service broadcaster stating that the tennis grand slam was streamed 53.8 million times on the BBC iPlayer and online.
