BBC picks up rights to England’s tour of Argentina

UK public-service broadcaster the BBC has acquired rights to the England rugby union team’s upcoming tour of Argentina.

England will play a two-Test series against Argentina next month, with games to be played on June 10 and June 17. Both games will be broadcast on the BBC Two channel.

The two teams were yesterday (Wednesday) drawn in the same group for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

England has not lost to Argentina since 2009. The two sides last met in November at Twickenham, with the home side claiming a 27-14 victory (pictured).
