BBC to stream World Boccia Championships

UK public-service broadcaster the BBC has agreed to stream live coverage of the 2018 World Boccia Championships, which will take place later this month in Liverpool.

The BBC will feature the event on its tablet and mobile platforms, as well as via connected televisions.

Live coverage of the main court will be available from 9am to 7pm BST on the opening day of the tournament on August 12, through to the final day on August 18 from 10:30am to 6pm BST.

Paralympic gold medal-winner David Smith (pictured) will be among the 10 members of the British team at the event.
