French pay-television broadcaster beIN Sport has acquired broadcast rights to the 2013-14 season of the Uefa Women’s Champions League club football competition.
BeIN Sport will broadcast the games of French teams Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain, along with some additional matches not featuring the pair.
The broadcaster’s coverage will commence with Lyon’s trip to face Dutch team FC Twente on October 9.
Lyon reached the final of last season’s Champions League before being defeated 1-0 by Germany’s VfL Wolfsburg.
