Pay-television broadcaster beIN Sports has secured a carriage deal in Thailand on pay-television operator TrueVisions.
BeIN Sports 1 will be available on the service from tomorrow (Wednesday).
Thailand is the latest of a number of countries in Asia where beIN Sports has launched following other carriage deals in Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
“Thailand is a new and very important market for beIN Sports,” the broadcaster’s chairman, Nasser Al Khelaifi, said. “Since the launch last year, beIN Sports is now the fastest growing sports television brand in the world, and we aim to continue the pace of expansion in Asia as we seek new opportunities for growth.”
