BeIN Sports to launch new service for Champions League coverage

French pay-television broadcaster beIN Sports will launch a new ‘multiplex’ service for its coverage of the Uefa Champions League, ahead of the next round of matches from the European club football competition.

According to multiple French media reports, the beIN Sports 2 channel will be dedicated to the service which will allow subscribers to switch between games and provide all the goals from an evening’s fixtures.

BeIN Sports 2 is set to commence the service at 8:45pm on November 25 following its live coverage of Bate Borisov’s game against FC Porto.

The multiplex service is an extension of a similar platform beIN Sports provides for its coverage of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, the top two divisions of French football.
