Amalgamated Racing which operates Turf TV, the horse-racing channel for bookmaker shops in UK and Ireland, agreed media rights deals with three British horse racing courses, Exeter, Perth and Kelso, beginning in May next year.
Amrac will distribute live coverage of races from the three racecourses to bookmaker shops in the UK and Ireland. The deals increase Amrac’s portfolio of horse racing rights to 34 of the UK’s 60 race courses.
Amrac is a joint-venture between Racecourse Media Services, the consortium of 31 UK racecourses, and Timeweave, a provider of technology to bookmakers.
