Bharti Airtel secures Euro 2012 mobile rights in India

Indian telecommunications company Bharti Airtel has acquired exclusive mobile rights for the Uefa Euro 2012 football tournament, which kicks off later today in Poland.

The telco will stream live match coverage, plus other content including competitions, goal updates, games and a magazine.

Bharti Airtel customers will have to pay to access the content. The company has over 183 million mobile customers in India.
