Bolivian rights agreed ahead of Copa América Centenario kick-off

Bolivian state broadcaster Bolivia TV has acquired rights to the Copa América Centenario ahead of its national team’s opening game in the football tournament on June 6.

Bolivia TV has concluded the deal after almost three months of negotiations with the IMG agency. The Copa América Centenario is being hosted by the United States from June 3-26.

Gisela Lopez, general manager of Bolivia TV, told Bolivian newspaper La Razón that the sports channel 7.2 will broadcast all 32 games from the tournament, with key matches, including those featuring Bolivia, being showcased on the broadcaster’s main channel.

Bolivia gets its campaign underway against Panama in Orlando on June 6, and has also been drawn alongside Argentina and Chile in Group D.
