UK specialist boxing pay-television channel BoxNation has expanded its service offering after it acquired exclusive rights to the Enfusion Live: Edition 19 world championship kickboxing event.
BoxNation will broadcast the event, which will be hosted at The Troxy in London, live on June 29.
Enfusion Live is the live format of the Enfusion brand, which started in 2008 with a reality television show, expanding internationally four years later.
As of 2014, Enfusion produces live world championships, a yearly edition reality television show, and a development league ‘Fighting Rookies’. Enfusion Live takes place 12 times a year and travels around Europe promoting premium live events.
BoxNation managing director Jim McMunn said: “Boxing will always be at the heart of who we are but when the opportunity arrives to deliver additional top class sporting events then we will take it, and it can only enhance the schedule for our customers.”
BoxNation agreed the rights deal with the Fighting Spirit agency.
