Portuguese pay-television operator Cabovisão has joined telecommunications companies Nos and Vodafone in an agreement to share broadcast rights for sports events.
Nos and Vodafone struck the initial Memorandum of Understanding in May.
Under the deal, the platforms will share live coverage of sporting events and sports channels, including channels of individual football clubs.
In other news, Nos has launched its own television channel, Canal Nos, which will serve as a platform for sports content, as well as music, movies and entertainment programming.
