Cage Warriors Fighting Championship strikes double deal

Mixed martial arts promotion Cage Warriors Fighting Championship has agreed rights deals with UK pay-television broadcaster Premier Sports and Irish pay-television broadcaster Setanta Sports.

Both broadcasters will carry all CWFC events for the remainder of 2013, in an agreement that will begin on July 6.

Premier Sports will hold the exclusive UK live rights, while Setanta Sports will have exclusive broadcast rights throughout Ireland – with the latter airing events with a one-hour delay to avoid clashes with its football programming.

Premier Sports and Setanta Sports will also have access to the Cage Warriors archive, allowing the broadcasters to show replays of past events.
