French pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus has acquired rights to the 2013-14 season of the Sevens World Series rugby union competition.
The 2013-14 Sevens World Series begins on Australia's Gold Coast on October 12-13, with Canal Plus broadcasting the event live on its Rugby Plus channel. Canal Plus Sport will broadcast game highlights.
Canal Plus acquired the rights to the Sevens World Series from the French Rugby Federation.
