Pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus has agreed to share English Premier League coverage in France with Altice for the 2019-22 cycle.
The deal allows Altice’s RMC Sport TV channels to continue to show EPL matches despite having lost the rights at the end of the 2018-19 season.
Canal Plus acquired late last year exclusive EPL rights in the country from 2019-20 to 2021-22.
Prior to losing the 2016-19 rights to Altice, Canal Plus held rights in the previous three-season cycle, from 2013-14 to 2015-16.
