Canal Plus and beIN Sports France, the pay-television broadcasters and Uefa Champions League rights-holders in France, have obtained injunctions to protect themselves against illegal streaming of European football’s elite clubs competition.

The injunctions handed out by the Paris Court of Justice come amid increased powers recently handed to French media regulator Arcom to extend blocking measures to any new site that illegally streams coverage.
