Canal Plus drops TF1 channels, citing ‘unreasonable’ demands

French pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus has warned that it will no longer carry the channels of commercial broadcaster TF1 after the latter expressed a desire to “fundamentally review” its commercial demands.

Canal Plus said that TF1 has asked for “very substantial remuneration” for its free-to-air channels: TF1, TMC, TFX, TF1 Séries Films and LCI.
