Canal Plus increases MultiChoice stake to 26 per cent

Canal Plus, the France-based pay-television broadcaster, has further raised its stake in pan-African broadcaster MultiChoice, owner of pay-television broadcasters SuperSport and DStv.

Canal Plus’ shareholding now stands at 26.26 per cent, up from 20.12 per cent in July. The stake had risen to 18.44 per cent in June.
