Cellcom Israel has expanded its sports offering on its Cellcom TV pay-television platform in the country.
Cellcom has agreed a carriage deal for the RGE media group’s sports channels, including Sport 5, Sport Plus Five, Sport Plus Five Live, Sport Plus Five Gold, Sport i5 and Sport 5 HD.
RGE broadcasts football’s Uefa Champions League, English Premier League, Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1, along with the domestic Israeli basketball league and other properties.
Until now, the only sports channel available through the Cellcom TV package was One HD, but two sports channels will now be offered within the basic package.
