Champions League and Europa League deal agreed in Kazakhstan

Uefa, European football’s governing body, has agreed a deal in Kazakhstan with commercial broadcaster KTK for the free-to-air rights to the Champions League and Europa League, for three seasons, from 2012-13 to 2014-15.

KTK will show the first-pick live match each match night from the Champions League and the first-pick live match per kick-off slot from the Europa League.

A highlights programme will also be shown each match night for both competitions.

Mobile and internet rights are included in the deal.

The Team Marketing agency, Uefa’s global sales agent for the media rights to the Champions League and Europa League, brokered the deal.
