Israeli pay-television broadcaster the Sports Channel acquired exclusive live rights for the Uefa Champions League, in a three-year deal, from 2012-13 to 2014-15.
The Sports Channel will show three live matches each match night across its bouquet of channels, Sport 5, Sport 5+ and +5Gold. A weekly highlights show will also be broadcast on the Sport 5 channel.
The deal includes mobile and internet rights.
The deal was brokered by the Team Marketing agency, sales agent for Uefa, European football’s governing body.
