US regional sports network Fox Sports Ohio agreed a rights deal with local Major League Soccer team Columbus Crew covering the 2012 season.
Fox Sports Ohio will broadcast all 32 of the Crew’s games this season in high definition. The Crew’s games were previously shown by another regional broadcaster, Ohio News Network, which had a smaller reach.
“Through this relationship with Fox Sports Ohio, the Crew brand reach will be substantially increased across the state and throughout the region, as will the brand reach of our corporate partners and advertisers,” the team’s president and general manager, Mark McCullers, said.
