Conmebol lost out on $43.5m after ‘surprising’ Globo, DAZN deal cancellations

South America’s football governing body, Conmebol, has announced it lost out on $43.45m (€36.7m) in media rights revenues after Globo and DAZN’s ‘surprising unilateral terminations’ of deals for Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana rights last year.
