Cypriot pay-television broadcaster CyTAvision has secured rights to a raft of club and national team football content, including domestic competitions.
CyTAvision has acquired in-home rights to the top-tier First Division, which is title sponsored by parent company, telco Cyta, along with the Cypriot Cup. The agreements run for three seasons, from 2019-20 to 2021-22.
CyTAvision has also secured rights to qualifying competitions operated by European governing body Uefa for Euro 2020 and the 2022 Fifa World Cup, as well as the new Nations League event, for the period spanning 2018 to 2022. This deal excludes rights to Cyprus’ matches.
Finally, CyTAvision has picked up rights to Serie A, the top division of Italian club football, for the three seasons running from 2018-19 to 2020-21.
