DAZN adds cricket content to Canadian offering

DAZN, the OTT service operated by digital sports media company Perform, has acquired rights in Canada to a host of international cricket content.

DAZN has struck two-year deals with the Pakistan Cricket Board, Cricket West Indies and Sri Lanka Cricket, as well as a four-year agreement with the English and Wales Cricket Board, for live and on-demand rights.

DAZN Canada’s two-year agreement with the PCB, CWI and SLC entails broadcasting all three boards’ Twenty20, Test and one-day international matches.

The four-year agreement with the ECB will bring 19 international matches, all England home matches, domestic T20 matches and other ECB-hosted tournaments.
