DAZN extends partnership with Matchroom to Canada

Following on from acquiring Canadian rights to Anthony Joshua’s latest title bout earlier this month, DAZN has signed a new eight-year deal with Matchroom USA.

The agreement will give OTT service DAZN exclusive rights in Canada to all Matchroom USA events beginning on October 6, when the first of 16 live events will take place.

The agreement is an extension of the partnership between the two companies, as Matchroom USA is a joint-venture boxing promotion between DAZN Group – recently rebranded from Perform Group – and Matchroom Boxing.
