OTT streaming service DAZN has acquired rights in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Brazil to North America’s Major League Soccer.
The agreement will run for four seasons, from 2019 to 2022.
The deal will be exclusive in the five European countries, where DAZN will show every match. The deal in Brazil will be non-exclusive.
Earlier this week, DAZN acquired exclusive rights to the final of the 2018-19 edition of Spanish club football competition the Copa del Rey in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Japan. It also acquired non-exclusive rights to the match in Italy.
