Pay-television broadcaster Digi has acquired rights for football’s English Premier League in the Czech Republic, according to the Sport.cz news website.
The rights were acquired in a sublicensing deal with telecommunications company Slovak Telekom ahead of today’s game between Burnley and Chelsea.
The coverage will be shown on the Digi Sport Czech Republic channel.
Slovak Telekom acquired the rights in Slovakia and Czech Republic for the league in a three-year deal, from 2013-14 to 2015-16.
Digi was acquired by Slovak Telekom in 2013, according to the Broadband TV News website.
