Pay-television broadcaster DirecTV Latin America agreed a deal with US basketball league the NBA to begin carrying the NBA TV channel in the region.
NBA TV broadcasts a number of live matches per season, plus daily highlights and other NBA-related programming.
Carriage of the NBA TV channel supplements DirecTV’s exclusive coverage of the NBA on its DirecTV Sports channel, and the NBA Pass premium package which makes a further three matches per week available to subscribers.
