ESPN’s ACC Network will launch in August and will be carried by DirecTV from its inception.
Multiple published reports indicate that the network, which will showcase ACC sporting events landing on DirecTV could make further distribution deals smoother. The news coincides with ESPN’s launching of a new marketing campaign for the network’s launch which will feature unique pitches to fans of each ACC member school.
The network’s first ever ACC Football telecast will take place on August 29 when the reigning ACC and National Champion Clemson Tigers host the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
