The European Broadcasting Union consortium of public-service broadcasters has extended its rights partnership with the International Biathlon Union.
The renewed agreement will run for four seasons, from 2018-19 to 2021-22. The deal extends a relationship that began over 20 years ago.
The EBU and its rights-holding members will have access to free-to-air coverage of at least 36 World Cups, three World Championships and various other IBU events.
The agreement covers rights across various platforms, as well as production, transmission guarantees, contract management project coordination and implementation services, as well as cooperation in regards to digital media.
