The European Broadcasting Union, the consortium of European free-to-air broadcasters, has launched a tender for the broadcast rights to the Vuelta a España cycling race for the period spanning 2016 to 2020.
The EBU holds the distribution rights for Spain’s ‘Grand Tour’ and said the tender is open in a selection of territories, most of them located in Europe.
The EBU stressed the tender is open to broadcasters only, with offers not being considered from agencies or intermediaries.
Interested parties can express their interest in receiving the tender documents up to October 3.
