The European Broadcasting Union consortium of public-service broadcasters has revealed record viewing figures for its members during the Uefa Women’s Euro, which concluded on Sunday with England’s extra-time win over Germany at Wembley.
EBU members showed a cumulative total of more than 1,200 hours of live coverage during the tournament, reaching a cumulative audience of over 280 million people, according to the Geneva-based body.
