South African public-service broadcaster SABC has agreed a multi-year rights deal with the Extreme Fighting Championship mixed martial arts series.
SABC will broadcast delayed coverage of EFC programming each week on its SABC 3 channel.
SABC will also show live coverage of at least 10 EFC events per year on SABC 3.
SABC is due to begin its live event coverage with EFC 57 on March 4. The event will be headlined by a bout between flyweight fighters Nkazimulo Zulu and JP Buys.
EFC president Cairo Howarth said: “This is a huge milestone for EFC, its partners and the EFC athletes, who will all be showcased to millions of SABC 3 viewers every Saturday night and repeated on Monday afternoon.”
