Eleven adds to Belgian service with darts, snooker rights

International sports broadcaster Eleven Sports Network has acquired rights in Belgium to a number of major darts and snooker events.

Eleven will have exclusive rights in the country to the Professional Darts Corporation’s 2017-18 World Darts Championship and the 2018 World Cup of Darts, as well as snooker’s Champion of Champions tournament.

Eleven will broadcast all three events on its television channels in Belgium and will also stream live coverage via its online and mobile platforms.

The rights agreement includes a commitment to 54 hours of live coverage of the Champion of Champions, which is currently being held in Coventry, UK.

The 2017-18 World Darts Championship runs from December 14 until January 1 at Alexandra Palace in London, while the dates and venue for the 2018 World Cup of Darts have not yet been announced.
